Where Are They Now - The Players That Departed Over The Summer

Ryan Ford was first out the door, he was released just before the end of the season, he is now at Ilkeston Town. He featured against Notts in the pre-season game during the summer, and is very much in John McGinlay's plans at The New Manor ground.

Gary Owers
Gary Owers is playing in the Nationwide Conference with Forest Green Rovers, and made his debut last weekend. Following his release from Notts he was linked with a move to Exeter, but is now with the Conference club following an impressive pre-season trial.

Henrik Jorgesen arrived from B1909 when he joined Notts, and following his release he is now back in Denmark. He never really made the grade at Meadow Lane, and is back with the club he was so sucessful with.

Niall McNamara is yet to find a club following his release, but has been on trial with a few Division 3 sides. He had a trial with Boston United in early July, and soon after he was on trial at Hartlepool United. Following that we have not heard any more developments on the Irishman.

Mark Warren did not have much trouble finding a club, after he linked up with 2nd Division rivals Colchester United. Warren joined the Layer Road side on a trial, and following impressive performances in pre-season games he was handed a 1 year deal.

John McCaig, a Jocky Scott signing, is also yet to find a club to our knowledge. He was reported to be on trial back up in Scotland with Hamilton Academical, but nothing else has been heard on him.

Loanee's Leam Richardson and Jeff Whitley remain with the clubs they arrived at Meadow Lane from, but both so far are yet to break into their respective teams.
Richardson, who made the right back spot his own at Notts, signed a 1 year deal with Bolton over the summer but is yet to break into Sam Allardyce's side.
Whitley remains in the cold at Manchester City, with Kevin Keegan making him available for transfer over the summer.
