Two more in the bag

Both are believed to have signed on two-year deals at Meadow Lane, after being released by their respective clubs this summer.

Forest bound?
Baudet is a 6'3 midfielder-cum-defender who spent just a year at Rotherham after signing last summer from Oldham. The 25-year-old started his career back in his homeland of France, for top-league side Toulouse. He played 21 games there before signing for Oldham on a free transfer in 2001.

Edwards is more your typical Notts County signing. The 24-year-old defender has played regularly for Hull City for 6 years, before he was released last summer. He had a (very) short spell at Colchester before signing for fellow Division 2 strugglers Grimsby Town until the end of this season.

The big centre back played 36 times for the Mariners, but whether that is a good or a bad thing, given their recent defensive record, only time will tell.

A more in-depth look at the two new-boys will be on NCM soon.

In other news today, Forest website "24-7" claim that outgoing Notts striker Paul Heffernan has agreed a £300,000 deal to join the City Ground club. However, whether we should be banding the "Judas" tag around just yet remains to be seen, as the story has appeared nowhere else and has no quotes from any of the involved parties.

More to follow.
