The 16-year old striker, who became the second youngest player ever to play for Notts when he debuted in the 1-0 away defeat at Bournemouth, is to leave the club this summer after turning down a trainee's contract offered to him by Gary Mills.

Everton, who as we exclusively revealed AFTER that Bournemouth match were eyeing a move for McGoldrick, are simply the latest of the chasing pack to officially express an interest in the school-boy striker with Fulham and Spurs also said to have made an approach for McGoldrick.

Such flattering interest for such a young player is a credit to McGoldrick as, with just two first team starts under his belt, he accquires an enterrage of Premiership clubs who've began to sit up and take note of the home-grown youngster whose been labelled by many as the best talent since Jermaine Pennant to rise from County's youth set-up.

In an interview with the Nottingham Evening Post, Gary Mills said "Everton are the latest Premiership club to express an interest, but they are certainly not the only ones."

"There has also been contact with Fulham and Spurs.

"He is a player a lot of clubs are keen on but we have not had any offers yet.

"It is impossible to say which way things will go.

"Perhaps it will end up going to a tribunal - but if we receive an acceptable offer in the meantime, we will obviously consider it."
