Ian Richardson - 3rd Red Card Of Notts Career
Richardson was sent off following a heavy challenge on Chesterfield's Marcus Ebdon, who was taken off on a stretcher.

This leaves Magpies boss Billy Dearden with a major defensive headache of the game against his former club, with both his regular centre halfs serving suspensions.

Craig Ireland - Will Step In
Craig Ireland will step in to replace Richardson, but the loss of in form Fenton is a huge blow as Notts only have 3 fit centre halfs on their books. Former Dundee man Ireland was a regular in the Notts team early on in the season but after picking up an injury has been unable to force his way back into the team as Fenton and Richardson had struck up a good partnership.

Simon Ramsden and Danny Stone could be brought in to play in Fenton's position, or perhaps Dearden will be keen to bring someone in on loan, but that looks unlikely.

Richardson picked up the 3rd red card of his Notts career yesterday, after previously been sent off against Bristol Rovers in the 1999-2000 season and Northampton in the 2000-2001 season.
