Jackson is a versatile player who can play at left back and left wing, but is most comfortable in central midfield. He's a cultured player who's good on the ball and can pick out a pass, which should please Notts fans. A former Colchester player of the season who's made over 100 appearances for the club, he handed in a transfer request after falling out of favour with boss Paul Lambert. Starting his career at White Hart Lane, Jackson has had spells at Swindon Town, Derby County, Coventry City, Watford and also an initial loan spell with Colchester.
