When asked about signings for the coming weekend game the manager said: "At the moment, it’s no but I’ve said that before and then Ben Barclay happened quicker than I thought.
“I am quite experienced in terms of wheeling and dealing when it comes to players.
“Ultimately, I could go and get players offered to me and have them done and dusted quite quickly.
“But I want better and I want players who aren’t being offered to me. I want those who can make a huge difference with 16, 17, 18 games to go.
“Sometimes they take a bit longer. Hopefully they are players who the fans will go ‘they’ve done well to get him’.”
