Neal Ardley - 'A bad day at the office'

“I thought we were caught a bit on the break in the first half,  but other than that I thought we played well in the first 45 minutes,” said Ardley.

“Their keeper has made an unbelievable save to deny Callum and  you are frustrated when you don’t take your chances.

“But we work really hard on our set-pieces and three people do not end up doing their jobs.

“That’s what has cost us the game.

“It was one of those games when the first goal would make all the difference, but we didn’t take our opportunities, and we haven’t defended a set-piece.

“The players are hurting. You are thinking how did we lose it, but it’s ended up being a bad day at the office.”
