"I am delighted, for my collegues, the players, the staff and the club and of course the supporters, who have had a terrible time of late." Said McEwan.
When asked why their bid had beaten off competiton from Albert Scardino and Vantis Sports Solutions, McEwan said "It was because out bid was the best bid, and to our knowledge it was the only one with all the boxes ticked."
"We do have long-term plans. But it's important first to make sure the club is stablised and can recover from the shambles it's been left in. We can build then on a solid base."
McEwan also added that the new owners were looking forward to meeting the club supporters, and are desparate to get to work at Meadow Lane.
