Three Notts County directors have today left the club.

Ex-Chairman Stephen Thompson as well as Andrew Rigby and David Rhodes have all stepped down from their roles at Meadow Lane.

Club Chairman, Jeff Moore told the official website: "We always planned to make changes as when I joined in May I thought a board of 11 directors was too many".

Hunt... Form rewarded with extension
In other news, Lawrie Dudfield and Stephen Hunt have agreed extensions to their current contract that was due to run out at the end of the season. Both have been in fine recent form, and Notts boss Steve Thompson was determined to hang onto the duo. Their new deal will run until the end of next season, as will Jay Smith's rceently signed contract.

17-year-old winger Stef Frost has returned to the Magpie's after a loan spell with Gainsborough.

And it has been revealed that the club making a six figure bid for reigning Player of the Year David Pipe was fellow League 2 outfit Wycombe Wanderers. That bid was turned down.
