Latest Developments

It appears now that without a doubt the Bhattia, Strang bid has failed and they will no longer be part of the club.

It also seems unlikely that Geoffry Richmond will continue as chief executive.

The latest word is, and again there has been no official word from the club, that since Thursday evening Derek Pavis has mobilised a new consortium that is willing to buy the club.

Word is that the consortium consists of Directors past and present and Local business men.

If this bid is successful, however, Pavis will not return to the board of directors.

The meeting that shall decide Notts fate is later today & they are said to be cautiously confident of extending the deadline set by the league to come out of Administration.
