Kevin Nolan feels the experience of last season could help avoid complacency

“What those players experienced last year will help them keep their feet on the ground,” Nolan said.

“They will know how quickly it can all come back and bite you on the backside.

“You do get that sense that they don’t want to get too carried away, but at the same time they are also really enjoying it.

“When you get to the places that we are at this current time, you have got to enjoy those moments because they become few and far between.

“I am a footballer who sat at the top of the Premier League for a few weeks, and I still remember it to this day.

“You can never ever say, ‘calm down, this is not right’ – what you can say is, 'don’t get carried away with what you’ve done'.

“But the challenge is, can you stay there and maintain your professionalism, if you like. The good thing for me is that these lads are all driving each other on.”
