“There is more quality in the league now and youth that have filtered down the pyramid compared to when I was last in it. We’re only a few games in, but I’m confident that once we start to find our true rhythm, we’ll be fine.
“It’s been a long time since I was in this league, but I know the team respects it, even those that haven’t played at this level before, know it is going to be a step up.
“It will take time to adapt, but we have a wonderful leader, a great team and the right attitude and I think that is everything you need in a team environment. We believe in each other and are reading off the same page but we know it is going to take a lot of work but that is something we are happy to do.
“I’m more than happy to use my experience in any way possible to serve my teammates and the squad as a whole. We have quite a few players who are in their latter years as players and as a collective, we’ll make sure the team is on the right path.”
