The Latics had some problems with the frost covers at Boundary Park last night. Due to some strong winds, some of the special frost covers have moved out of place.

Because of this, some parts of the Boundary Park pitch have now become frozen again thanks to sub zero temperatures last night in many parts of the country.

The Latics placed the covers on the pitch to try and avoid the frost getting into the ground at Boundary Park and freezing the pitch before the game at the weekend.

The club is hopeful that the predicted rise in temperatures over the next few days will enable the pitch to thaw out properly and they are optimistic that the match between Notts and Oldham will go ahead as planned next Saturday.
