Fenton To Miss Stags Visit

Fenton has been in highly impressive form so far this season, and if a Player of the Season poll was conducted now Fenton would romp home winner.

However, he will miss the much awaited local derby with The Stags at Meadow Lane on November 9th after picking up his 5th booking of the season in last nights LDV Vans Trophy defeat to Division 2 leaders Wigan Athletic.

His bookings have come against Barnsley, Brentford, Luton, Northampton and Wigan and for this he will serve a 1 match suspension.

Fenton will no doubt be gutted to be missing out on the match, and with Notts only having 2 recognised centre halfs on the books (Ian Richardson & Craig Ireland), Dearden will be hoping both of those stay well clear of injury and suspension.

The former Manchester City defender is the only Magpies player to have started every single League and Cup game so far this season.
