Dearden told the Evening Post: "We want to do something a little bit different with the lads this week and take them away for a day or two," he said.

"We haven't decided on the details yet but the aim is to forge a bit of togetherness.

"They deserve a break after the past week and can be proud of what they have achieved. We will be having a word with the administrator to see what can be done. And if he won't pay for it, we will pay for it ourselves."

The players certainly deserve a break, but after earlier news, let's hope Paul Finnity has more important things on his mind then footing the bill for a day trip out to the zoo.
