After losing at Mansfield on Saturday, the record shows Notts have won just 1 of their last 8 games and are hovering far too close for comfort above the 2nd Division drop zone.

"If players do not deserve to hang onto their place they cannot expect to hang onto it." Dearden told the Evening Post.

"We have to cope with what we have got, we have to manage with this squad.

"And that means these lads are going to have to produce the goods, which they are not doing at the moment.

"We do not have a lot of options in the squad, there are not to many changes I can make.

"But if they are not doing their jobs they cannot expect to be in the side forever.

"If that means I have to put the kids in so be it."
Added Dearden.

Shaun Harrad, Willis Francis and Shane McFaul could all well be in line for their full debuts on Saturday.
