Dearden - We Were A Yard Short All Over The Pitch

Dearden was less than impressed with his players, and told Radio Nottingham;

"That was the worst performance while I've been at the club. I am very disappointed with the lads and not many, if any of them came out with any credit. We had some words at both half and full time, and we could have got beaten 6 or 7 and we were lucky to get away with 3" said a fuming Dearden.

He continued to say;
"We were a yard short in all areas. The players should be very disappointed, they have let themselves down. We had had good away record in build up to game and were hoping to build on it, and we were just not with it. Huddersfield deserved it, and should have had more"

He also said;
"All i can do is apologise to the fans (of which over 900 went), there was no fight in them and more passion in training yesterday morning which shocks me."

Dearden is keen to add to the squad, and it is obvious things need freshening up on the playing side, but Dearden has little if not no chance at the moment. Out of the whole squad Dearden has signed just 1 player, and that is Simon Ramsden on a season long loan.
