Martin Allen has announced that experienced defensive duo Jon Harley and Liam Chilvers have been informed that they are free to find new clubs and are available on free transfers.
In addition to the seven out of contract players released, Allen has told the pair they have no future at Meadow Lane.
Jon Harley joined from Watford last summer and was a mainstay at left back for the Magpies this season, but his form deteriorated in the second half of the campaign and Allen dropped him for Notts' final game of the season against Brighton.
Chilvers meanwhile joined from Preston North End but has struggled for form and fitness throughout his time at Meadow Lane. The centre back seemed to be in favour under Allen but is now free to leave the club.
