“It has been a pleasure being here and an interesting time trying to help the team, of course, there are things that we need to work on because not all of it has been good, but I've enjoyed it so far.

“It has not been a big change [from playing in Denmark] in terms of the football itself. Tactically, it has been a bit different in terms of the formation that we play with here, but I’ve been trying to adapt as quickly as possible.

“I always try to stay positive no matter what because it usually brings better opportunities and as a striker, it is a very important mindset to have because you will miss chances in games and it can affect your overall performance if you don’t have the right mindset to keep going.”

Speaking about the rest of the season, Jatta said “We’re still positive it is not over until it is over, and we still have in our minds that we can turn things around. We just have to take every game as it comes and work hard in between them to see how best we can improve.

“It is a very challenging situation for the team at the moment, like a rollercoaster, but this is football, sometimes you will win having not played well and lose having played well, so we need to find the sweet spot between performing and winning.

“The supporters are always really important in football, and they give us the fire and courage we need to give our all for them. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from them so far and I hope that can continue by helping the team achieve their goals.”
