Who are ya, Bosnian lad?

Last updated : 06 September 2004 By Richard Brown

Name: Fahrudin Kuduzovi
Position: Midfielder

Previous Clubs: Derby County

More of the Baudet, less of the Bewers, please, Mills.
Get yourself a Bosnian!
Although very little is known about this shady little character, Gary Mills – along with Kuduzovi’s referee, Steve Spooner – evidentially have enough faith in the Bosnian midfielder’s ability to offer an effective practical trial – or, more officially, week-to-week contract – with the club. Offering another chance to shine with another crack at the whip in league football.

Kuduzovi, 19, was released by Derby County in the summer after failing to make the step-up from the Ram’s much acclaimed youth system and eventually arrived on trial at Meadow Lane. Initially spending the pre-season period with the Magpies, debuting in the close season at Grantham Town.

Six weeks and a starring role in the reserves’ 5-0 thrashing by Lincoln later, Kuduzovi – a lofty figure at the heart of midfield – will now be hoping his role in the side can be increased, as he looks to earn himself a permanent deal at Meadow Lane.

Days after his arrival, one 17 minute debut from the bench; and precious little had been done to damage the chances of arriving at Meadow Lane on longer-term basis.
