NCM: Who did you prefer playing with in the middle last season…Jay Smith, Dan Martin or Ian Ross?
MS: All of the other midfield players each have different qualities but towards the end of the season I feel I formed a good relationship with Smith.
NCM: Who is the best player you have played against?
SH: (Mark) Viduka last season probably
MS: Karl Heinz Riedle
NCM: Who is the best player you have ever played with?
SH: Andrei Kanchelskis was pretty decent.
MS: James Collins
NCM: What do you think of the Meadow Lane Pitch?
MS: The rugby took it's toll on it last season and we trained on it but it's been returfed so it should be pretty decent this year.
SH: Yes last year it was a bit lumpy but this season it looks like it's going to be a bit special.
NCM: Can you hear the crowd when you are playing?
SH: Sometimes when the ball goes out of play you pick things up mostly last season I could hear the fans giving Whitey (Alan White) some stick!
MS: I hear everything (EVERYTHING) haha!
NCM: What does the team work on in training?
SH: We do a lot of shape and pattern of play in preparation for the coming game.
NCM: Who stays behind doing extra stuff such as practicing their shooting?
SH: Just me on my own really.
MS: Haha! Generally after training we all have an extra shooting session but I need a lot more than others as you can probably tell.
NCM: If there was one player in the world you would like to see at Notts who would it be?
MS: Ronaldo!
SH: Zidane!
NCM: How much of an impact does Howard Wilkinson have on the club in particular training?

MS: He helps us now and then. He comes in when the management ask him to and obviously it's very good as he has loads of experience.
NCM: Give two words to describe your manager?
SH: Authoritive and passionate.
MS: I'd go for Passionate and Ambitious.
NCM: Who is our twenty goals a season player?
MS: (Jason) Lee.
SH: If I played up front it would probably be me but honestly I'd love to see Jason match his yellow cards with goals we will be onto a winner.
NCM: Who are your best mates in the side?
SH: Mainly Soms (Matt Somner) but overall I get on well with the whole team.
MS: I get on really well with all of them to be fair but I suppose I see (Jay) Smith and Hunt most out of football.
NCM: How many players read the message boards and does any of them post?
MS: I think a couple do but I'm not naming any names! My mate keeps up to date with what's happening on the board and about all the abuse I get haha!
SH: I aint the best with computers but I get updated on the good stuff!
NCM: What do you think of the Notts support?
MS: They are fantastic and I hope we can give them lots to cheer about next season.
SH: Yeah I agree they are great, and its good to see so many going to away games as well. Keep it up and see you next season!
NCM: How achievable is reaching the play-offs next season?
MS: Very much so, we are really going to push for promotion.
SH: I think with our squad now it is out minimum target hopefully we have our share of luck along the way also.
NCM: What is the best chant you have heard at a match either about you or in general?
MS: I love the "Whats that coming over the hill" chant!!! Whoever made that up is a winner!
SH: I don't think I have a song for me, it's not fair that Matt has one and I don't. Please guys can we do something about this???!!!
MS: What rhymes with Hunt?
SH: Shut up!
NCM: What is your favorite food and drink?
MS: Steak and Chips and Lucozade Orange!
SH: Anything cooked by my mum when I go back home! As for drink probably Mountain Dew! Where has it gone???
NCM: Ideal woman?

SH: They all seem like they are going to add something to the team and that's what we need.
