(6 Average)
Wayne Henderson- 6, Despite losing the game, the on-loan Irish stopper had little to do on his home debut. What he did do, he did well. Unlucky with the penalty.
Mike Edwards- 6, The invisible man. Was far more comfortable than in midfield, but still barely noticed him. Hard to believe he was Grimsby's player of the year last season.
Julian Baudet- 7, Solid. Was once again our best defender by a mile and is by far the pick of the signings. A tower of strength.
Ian Richardson- 6, Fairly obscure game for 'Richo'. Was taken off with yet another head wound and showed good commitment to the cause.
David Pipe- 7, Looked happier when switched to midfield in a 4-4-2. Still not the player we saw last season, but showed good pace and skill down the right, but needs to work on his crossing. Looked as gutted as anyone at the end and was very unlucky with the penalty decision.
Paul Bolland- 7, Star man. Wins the star man award for his sheer commitment to the cause. Never stopped running, and what he lacks in ability, he makes up for in sheer work rate.
Matthew Gill- 5, Fail to see what he adds to the team. Doesn't run/tackle as much as Bolland, and passing ability isn't good enough to make him the playmaker. Had one good effort saved. Should make way when Oakes returns.
Tony Scully- 6, Patchy. Looked better when switched to the left side of a 4-4-2, but still failed to truly show what he is capable of. Showed fancy footwork at times, but doesn't appear to enjoy the 'free role' Mills gives him in a 3-5-2. Still regaining match fitness.
Rob Ullathorne- 7, Looks a useful addition down the left. Defended competently and got forward well in support of Scully.
Gavin Gordon- 5, Scored his first goal in a Notts shirt but should have had at least one more when he tried to flick the ball in when a sidefoot would've been far more simple. Links up the play well at times, but has failed to impress so far.
Glynn Hurst- 2, Terrible. Missed FIVE gilt-edged chances in front of goal. Showed a distinct lack of composure and should count himself lucky he was given the full 90 minutes. Looks pretty useless.
Subs
Matty Williams (Gordon 84)- 5, Never got in the game.
Kelvin Wilson (Scully 87)- 6, Had little time to impress.

More reaction on Saturday's defeat still to come on NCM.
