(6 Average)

Steven Mildenhall- 6, It sounds strange to say but Stevie won't of had many, if any at all, easier games this season. When Ipswich did get in behind our defence they very rarely hit the target. Had no chance with the penalty.

Steve Jenkins- 7, Had a nightmare first ten minutes, giving away the penalty and looking generally unsure but got better as the game went on. What are the odds of him being injured for Saturday's game?!

Nicky Fenton- 8, For me, his best game of the season by a mile. Has looked much better in the last two matches. If Livesey comes back into the team Saturday it certainly shouldn't be for Nick, who was our most solid defender. Came close to being shown red.

Tony Barras- 6, More assured than on Saturday. Still looks suspect against pace and must of breathed a massive sigh of relief when the lively Bowditch was subbed off. Solid in the air as usual.

Kevin Nicholson- 7, Another excellent game! His spell on the sidelines has clearly taken the desired effect and he has come back a changed man, added something going forward and defended solidly.

Simon Baldry- 9, Star man. What a display from the ex Huddersfield man. Scored his first for us in the first 5 minutes and never looked back. Ran past players like they weren't there and was a constant thorn in their side. Hopefully he can chip in with a few more goals, we certainly need a midfielder who can score.

Darren Caskey- 8, Played the kind of game he was renowned for 2-3 years ago. Put in some brilliant passes and his work rate was the best I've seen for sometime. Everyone did their bit tonight and he was no exception.

Ian Richardson- 8, Sat in front of the back 4 and did his job well. It was a good decision from Billy to put him there, because it allowed Caskey to be more creative then he has all season. Brave of him to play after suffering a concussion on Saturday, but when have you ever known Richo to refuse the chance of playing football?!

Ian Baraclough- 8, His best game of the season by a mile. Worked his socks off all game. Ryan Giggs he ain't but he'll always try his hardest. Had a 40 yard shot at the end which just went over the bar, now that would have been the icing on the cake.

Clive Platt- 7, Worked hard as usual but struggled against the impressive Georges Santos. Had a chance in the second half when put through on the left side put his curling shot failed to test Ipswich keeper, Davis. A solid evening though.

Mark Stallard- 9, Edged out of man of the match by Baldry. Cololy tucked away the penalty which he won and brilliantly set up Baldry's goal. Was once again, central to everything we did. Another one who worked his socks off, Ipswich defenders won't relish facing Stal again.

Subs

Paul Riley (On 75- Jenkins)- 7, A cracking cameo from Riley. Put in some brilliant tackles, could have put himself in contention for Saturday.

Paul Heffernan (On 81- Platt)- 6, Was given a great reception by the Notts fans. It was backs to the wall at the end so he didn't have much chance to shine.
