Let the fans have their say

Last updated : 09 December 2006 By Paul Smith

Notts County 1-2 Macclesfield Town. Winless on their travels and bottom of the table, yet The Silkmen came to Meadow Lane and deservedly grabbed three points. It was Notts' second lacklustre showing in five days, and the third league defeat on the trot. Indeed, the Magpies have only avoided defeat in two games out of their last eight fixtures in all competitions. The fans are not happy…

Ncfcman: This club needs sorting out. Entertainment?.......kids in for £1, but still less than 4000 home fans.

Deeney: Back in the side to no avail?
The_Pie_Man:
Terrible Notts. Sort it Thommo. More changes needed. If the team really did give everything, then I'm worried for us this season.

Tsc: Only 11 points off the drop zone now! Smith and McMahon what a waste of time, why when we were crying out for a striker we brought 2 midfielders in ill never know. I don't see how McMahon is any better than Needham

POM: Well Deeney “fans“, he cost us the game. Needless penalty, their player was going nowhere, absolutely no reason for Deeney to bring him down.

Speed_ie: The sad thing is, even with the keeper giving away a penalty against the bottom team in the league, without an away win all season, we should've been able to beat Macclesfield.

Johno1: Come on guys no team goes through a season winning everything. Each team goes through a bad spell maybe a couple of times in a season, so lets stop shouting "what a load of rubbish" even if it was today and get behind them.

William_Death: Dan Martin must play next week. Can't understand why Steve Thompson hasn't been playing him... Offers a good balance in the centre OF MID both in terms of him being left-footed and a 'ball-winner'... and he SCORES GOALS.

Soccerman166: I am as disappointed as anyone after the last 2 home games. However, if we are all true supporters its now that we need to get behind the team more than ever.

Player reaction to come next here on NCM. It will certainly be interesting to see if they agree!
