Notts giving their best display for weeks, certainly for me their best under Billy Dearden, shook reading by the quality of their play and their share competitiveness. But you'd have nothing to show for it when they merrited at least a point.

Reading got all three points thanks to a injury time winner from substitute Jamie Cureton. And it's affect on the Notts players was plain to see at the final whistle, disheartened Notts players first sank to their knees then trutched to the dressing room with their heads down.

How different were the broad smiles on eighteen minutes when Richard Liburd Scored Notts' first goal in 6 hours and 23 minutes of open play.

If anyone deserved the goal it was the inspirational Liburd - So long an injury victim it was his first goal of the season. Notts needed to hold the lead for longer than they did, but the Reading equaliser was tinged with luck. Nick Forster should not have been allowed a free header but was. But it crossed the line after coming off the woodwork.

Level at the break - though before Reading's equaliser Marcel cas shot wide with a great chance to make it 2-0 to Notts.

They continued to have the better chances in the second half aswell. Danny Allsopp was upended but was not given the penalty that was obvious to everybody, everybody except Olivier - the Referee.

Craig Ireland forced an extinctive save from short range out of the Reading goalkeeper Ben Roberts. Then two minutes into injury time, Jamie Cureton brought on in 72 minutes. Found himself free at the backpost and buried a flashing drive into the back of the net.

A sixth successive defeat for Notts but it shouldn't have been.
