Youngster Hoping For First Team Chance

The Nottingham born youngster came in for the injured Baraclough last season and gave some highly impressive performances before picking up a groin injury which ruled him out for the rest of the season.

It is now a simular situation for Riley with Baraclough out he will be hoping to once again get the chance to put on the Black & White shirt for the first time this season. Riley has not been involved with the first team at all this campaign, but has featured in all the reserve team games and Billy Dearden is pleased with his progress.

Dearden is a keen admirer of Riley, and was hugely impressed with him in his 1st game in charge, when he turned in a fine performance in Notts' 2-0 win at Cambridge.

No doubt if the youngster gets his chance, he will be very keen to make an impression and show the form he produced for Notts last season.
