Both of the teenagers were in the starting line-up for last Saturday's 2-2 draw with Grimsby Town, meaning Magpies manager Ian Richardson has to make at least two enforced changes - without even considering the clubs usual injury crisis - to his team for Saturday's trip to Shrewsbury Town.

Versatile McFaul (pictured left) has been in a feature in the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad all season and has again been called up for their upcoming fixtures against Poland, Albania and Serbia and Montenegro - all of which taking place next week.

Meanwhile, talented midfielder Zadkovich is one of only two English-based players called up for the Australian Under-20 squad. The 18-year-old is likely to be part of the team that take on three Australian league side's next week.

Both will also be missing for next Saturday's home match against Bury, returning for the final game of the season at Cambridge.

Magpies Youth product McFaul has been a regular in the Notts squad ever since team-mate Richardson was appointed as manager in place of former boss Gary Mills. The 18-year-old has made 27 appearences this season, though his best display came last weekend when he was named man of the match for the first time at senior level.

Zadkovich, meanwhile, was a recent signing from QPR. The midfielder has impressed with a series of exciting displays since making the switch a month ago.

Both look likely to play key roles for The Magpies next season.
