Two Wigan Athletic fans were arrested last night following the Carling Cup clash with Notts County.

The pair, both aged 16, were apprehended when bricks had been thrown at the County supporters' coach, smashing two windows.

Fortunately, none of the fans on the coach were injured in the violent scenes.

One of teenagers was detained for criminal damage, and the other for a public order offence, but both have since been released on bail.

Further enquiries are ongoing.
