We want Richo!

A late surge of votes for 'Richo' saw him overtake early pace-setter Danny Wilson and take a highly impressive 32% of the vote.

Richo: Poll winner
Wins against Shrewbury and Woking, no doubt, have boosted the caretaker manager's cause no end. Prior to those two games, Richardson had just over 10% of the vote.

Former Bristol City & Barnsley manager Wilson stormed into an early lead but, with Richardson's popularity rising, the votes for Wilson seemed to dry up. However, an impressive 29.1% of the vote suggests that he too would be a popular appointment with Notts' fans.

Former Sheffield Wednesday boss Chris Turner- who is known to have applied for the vacant job- was a distant third. Incredibly, John Aldridge pulled in more votes then an ex-Notts fans' favourite, Hinckley manager Dean Thomas, who is one of the favourites for the vacant post.

Former Lincoln City manager Alan Buckley limped in last with just 1% of the vote, making you wonder whether the idea of re-appointing Colin Murphy would have gained more backing.
