We told you so!

NCM was first on the big story. We were light years ahead of anyone else, from either Oldham or Notts, in revealing the news of Mildenhall's move to the League One club. We broke the story on SATURDAY evening, over two days before the story was mentioned anywhere else.

And, while people dismissed the story as hearsay, Mildenhall was at Boundary Park ironing out the final few deals after the move was originally agreed with the Latics on Friday.

The goalkeeper was expected to be 'unveiled', as it were, on Monday morning but the deal with Brian Talbot's men struck a late hitch that prevented the deal being confirmed until today.

His contract was terminated with Notts on Tuesday evening to allow him to move as a free agent.

The 26-year-old - who was The Magpies' highest earner - has signed for Oldham until the end of the season and will attempt to dislodge first choice keeper Les Pogliacomi.

It was only yesterday that other unofficial Notts County websites reported the story. And it took the slow-moving official site until TODAY to confirm the story. For the big stories first, stick where you are. NCM is the only choice.

We wish Steve all the best.
