The winger has been a leading light in League Two all season with several top notch performances, and with the Notts tie in mind he continues to batter opposing left-backs.

Saturday was no different as the Bulls notched an entertaining 4-2 victory over high flying Bradford City.

The former Derby ace stunned Stuart McCall's men with his electrifying pace and direct running as he created havoc and had a hand in the hosts best moves.

He also won the penalty that gave them there precious third goal, to which City couldn't reply.

Nottingham born, Ainsworth will be relishing a return to his home town on Tuesday week to face the Magpies, and on this form Paul Mayo will have to be at his best.

Ainsworth was released by Premiership Derby in the summer after spending two years there, appearing twice as a substitute mixed in with loan spells at Bournemouth, Halifax and Wycombe.

Bulls boss Graham Turner handed him a deal in the summer after he impressed in pre-season and Turner was immediately rewarded as the nineteen-year-old notched a memorable hat-trick in their League Cup win over Yeovil Town.

Has has also figured the England under-19 side.

He is fast becoming the real deal.
