A journeyman pro- Warhurst has had spells at 10 clubs, including Sheffield Wednesday, a then Premiership title winning Blackburn and Big Sam's Bolton. His transfer fees total an impressive £4,260,000.
This season, however, Warhurst has struggled to maintain his career in the top flight having brief spells at Chesterfield, Barnsley and now, Carlisle.
He's certainly got the pedigree- but we shall assume that what Gary Mills wants to see is whether this much travelled pro still has the legs to last at this level.
