Any doubt hanging over the weekend’s clash at Adams Park looks to have been almost completely erased due to Adams Park having undersoil heating.

The club are hopeful that having the undersoil heating on will ensure both the football and the rugby games are played this weekend.

Apparently, the heating has been set on automatic and will stay on when the playing surface is below +1°C to try and stop frost getting to the turf and also to melt the snow that has already settled on the pitch.

Keith Allen, the Club Secretary at Wycombe, told the Wycombe Wanderers Official Site, "The undersoil heating has been turned on and it is anticipated that a combination of this and an increase in daytime temperature will remove all remaining snow from the playing surface without staff or fans having to exert any physical effort"
