Maidenhead United striker Alex Wall will not be moving to Meadow Lane after the two clubs were unable to strike a deal and complete the transfer
The 20 year-old had looked set to move to Meadow Lane after a successful trial, which saw Wall score in a friendly at Kettering Town and also get run outs against Peterborough United and Wolves.
He may now turn out against the Magpies on Monday night, when they travel to Maidenhead for their final pre-season friendly ahead of the new season.
