Stallard opened his account for the season with a well taken finish inside the box, latching onto Marcel Cas' flick on and holding off Crewe defender Sodje before smashing a right foot shot into the back of the net.
No.2 Saturday 31st August 2002 - Notts County 2-2 Brentford
Stall scored his first home goal for nearly a year against leaders Brentford, playing in an unfamiliar position of behind the two strikers that day who were Danny Allsopp and Paul Heffernan. He made it 1-0 early in the first half after fine build up play by The Magpies. Kevin Nicholson found Danny Allsopp, who layed the ball into the path of Stallard who skipped past defender Skonko before cooly sliding a left foot shot past Smith in goal.
No.3 Tuesday 10th September 2002 - Oldham Athletic 3-2 Notts County
Stallard grabbed a first half equaliser in this Worthington Cup game, but Notts lost out thanks to a late goal at Boundary Park. Stallard's goal came as a result of a poor clearance by the Oldham defence, with Richard Liburd quickly finding Caskey and his first time cross found Stallard unmarked 6 yards out to tap home with his left foot.
No.4/No.5 Saturday 29th September 2002 - Cheltenham Town 1-4 Notts County
(1)A brace each rom Stallard and Allsopp saw Notts run out easy winners at Cheltenham, with Stallard opening the scoring in the first minute. Darren Caskey's freekick was glanced home by Stallard from close range to give Notts the lead, befoe Stallard wrapped the game up late on with a superb finish.
(2)Marcel Cas found Stallard halfway inside the Cheltenham half, who advanced into the area, dragged the ball past the last defender before rolling the ball with his right foot and in a flash flicked the ball past the helpless goalkeeper to make it 4-1.
No.6 Saturday 5th October 2002 - Notts County 2-2 Peterborough United
Stallard got Notts back in the game in this match, with Notts 2-0 down early in the second half Stallard showed his poachers instinct following a defensive mix up. Mark Tyler's goal kick slammed off the back of a defender, with Stallard left to simply slide the ball into the empty net from the edge of the box.
No.7 Saturday 19th October 2002 - Notts County 2-1 Northampton
After missing a hatful of chances in the first half, Stallard opened the scoring early in the second half with a fine goal. Simon Ramsden's crossfield 50 yard pass was controlled by Stall with his right foot, and fired home with his left foot to open the scoring.
No.8/No.9 Tuesday 3rd December 2002 - Bristol City 3-2 Notts County
(1) Stallard gave Notts a shock lead at Ashton Gate on 19 minutes, after Ian Richardson had headed Nicky Fenton's freekick into his path. Stallard hit a right foot volley into the ground, which bounced up and over keeper Phillips to give The Magpies a shock lead.
(2) Stall cooly made it 2-2 on 80 minutes, again much against the run of play with the home side attacking in waves. Ian Baraclough's defence splitting pass found Stallard in the clear, who found the back of the net with ease with a low left foot shot before heading off to celebrate with the Notts following.
No.10/No.11 Saturday 21st December 2002 - Tranmere Rovers 2-2 Notts County
(1) Darren Caskey was fouled in the penalty area, and Stallard scoring the resulting penalty, sending the keeper the wrong way and firing into the top left hand corner to get Notts back in the game.
(2) Deep into injury time Notts launched one final attack, Craig Ireland hammered the ball up field, Darren Caskey flicked on and quick as a flash Stallard took a touch before toepoking the ball past the keeper to send the Notts fans wild.
No.12 Thursday 26th December 2002 - Notts County 3-2 Barnsley
A second penalty in as many games for The Magpies, and Stallard following a foul on the man himself. He dusted himself down before smashing his penalty low and hard past Marriott into the bottom left hand corner to make it 1-1.
No.13 Wednesday 1st January 2003 - Wigan Athletic 3-1 Notts County
Stallard's injury time strike at the JJB was his finest of the season, showing his creative abilites with a superb chip. His advance down the left wing saw him feed Jeff Whitley, who backheeled the ball to Stallard who, first time, send a superb chipped effort over John Filan from just inside the area. It was the first goal Wigan had conceeded in nearly 2 months in the league.
No.14 Tuesday 21st January 2003 - Notts County 3-2 Stockport County
Stallard began the fightback at Meadow Lane on 55 minutes, after Notts had been 2-0 down at half time. Stall had a simple finish, Darren Caskey's corner was flicked on by Craig Ireland and a yard out Stallard just had to touch the ball over the line to begin the fightback.
No.15 Saturday 1st February 2003 - Wycombe Wanderers 3-1 Notts County
Stallard's strike at Adams Park was nothing more than a consolation goal late on, with the damage already done thanks to an early couple of goals. Stallard's goal followed a decent spell of pressure by Notts, with Richard Liburd finding Richard Holmes, and his cross wasnt't properly cleared and Stallard curled a low right foot effort past Talia in goal from just inside the area.
No.16/No.17 Saturday 8th February 2003 - Mansfield Town 3-2 Notts County
(1) With Notts looking totally out of the game at 3-0 down, Stallard volleyed home from close range after Paul Heffernan had headed the ball into his path.
(2) Stallard advanced into the penalty area, and despite being held back by Stags player-manager Keith Curle, Stallard broke free and from around 12 yards out curled a right foot effort into the top corner to give Notts hope late on.

Notts made up for the Mansfield loss with a fine win over the promotion chasers with two second half goals, with Stallard opening the scoring from the penalty spot after he had been fouled. Stallard took the penalty right footed, and slotted it into the bottom left hand corner to send the home fans wild.
No.19 Tuesday 4th March 2003 - Notts County 1-0 Port Vale
Stall grabbed the games only goal on the hour, with a fine piece of individual skill and kept Notts' unbeaten run going. Simon Ramsden's long ball found Paul Heffernan, who touched the ball into the path of Stallard who shaped to shoot but instead dragged the ball away from the two defenders, who had now dived to the floor, before slotting the ball past the keeper to give Notts a vital home win.
No.20/No.21 Saturday 8th March 2003 - Cardiff City 0-2 Notts County
(1) Paul Heffernan was fouled in the area by Scott Young, and Stallard stepped up to fire past Neil Alexander into the bottom left corner.
(2) A lovely move by Notts secured the points, with Michael Brough winning the ball, Paul Bolland feeding it wide to Kevin Nicholson who found Richard Liburd and his superb through ball found Stallard who took the ball past Spencer Proir before calmly sliding the ball into the net in a shock victory.
No.22 Saturday 15th March 2003 - Notts County 1-1 Chesterfield
Stallard saved Notts' blushes in a poor performance, showing neat control in taking down Kevin Nicholson's fine pass and produced a cracking finish with a powerful right foot shot across the keeper and into the net.
No.23/No.24 Saturday 29th March 2003 - Notts County 3-2 Huddersfield Town
(1) Stallard was hauled down in the box when clear on goal, and picked himself up to cheekily get Notts level at 2-2 from the spot. He chipped the ball into the roof of the net, with the keeper diving to his right.
(2) Deep into injury time, Notts were awarded another penalty after a handball, and Mr Reliable hit the ball low and hard past the keeper to more or less secure Division Two safety.
No.25 Saturday 12th April 2003 - Colchester United 1-1 Notts County
Stallards final goal of the season came at Layer Road in first half injury time, with his goal earning a point. Stallard fed Heffernan who had his shot well saved by the home goalkeeper, but Stallard was on hand to tap home the rebound from just a few yards out for his 25th goal of the season.
