In line with NCM’s previous report just half-an-hour ago, a pitch inspection was carried out to examine whether or not the conditions were of a suitable standard to see the match go ahead. However, no sooner had the inspection been announced on the club’s Official site, the club released a revised report confirming that tonight’s game is off.
Arrangements are yet to be made for the reschedule of the fixture, although the decision has been made final, with the game one of a number of victims of the cold spell that continues to grip the country.
With more snow and frost expected later today, the game has been called off with concerns to the perilous conditions caused by the icy weather, which the club believe would pose a threat to the safety of the respective club’s supporters.
