Naming a nineteen man squad for the friendly, stand-in boss Ross McLaren – upon the absence of manager Gudjon Thordarson due to a family bereavement – has welcomed back experienced defender Rob Ullathorne.

Ullathorne: Back in action
Having fully recovered from a long-standing groin problem, Ullathorne returns to the first-team for the first time since early April after having impressed in last week’s second-string fixtures against Gresley and Nottingham Forest in his pursuit of match fitness.

Also named in the squad for the fixture is trialist Stacey Long, who trained with the Magpies in intervals last season as well as during the pre-season.

Missing, however, remain Mike Whitlow and Ian Richardson (both knee) and trialist Jake Sheridan (also injured), whilst Ruben Zadkovich Brian O’Callaghan, Chibuzor Chilaka and Emmet Friars were not named in the squad.

Notts: Pilkington, Pipe, Edwards, Gill, Baudet, Gordon, Hurst, Scully, Palmer, Deeney, Williams, Scoffham, Ullathorne, Wilson, McFaul, McMahon, White, Martin and Long.
