The four players that have agreed to sign contracts with Notts County- Tony Barras, Steve Jenkins, Clive Platt and Simon Baldry have all agreed to sign month to month contracts for Billy Dearden's Magpies with a view to these contracts being extended to a permanent move when Notts come out of administration.

This is great news for Notts as it was thought some of these players may have looked elsewhere for permanent contracts straight away.

All four have impressed in pre-season friendlies with Barras looking solid at the back, Jenkins already leading the defence from the right, Baldry showing some promising signs down the right & Platt adding some much needed height upfront.

The four players mentioned will now be allowed to appear in Saturdays opening game against Bristol City & all are expected to start, or at least play some part in the game.
