The battle at the foot of the table looks set to be the most intriguing in the final two weekends of the campaign.
There is certainly little excitement surrounding the play-offs with Wycombe and Darlington guranteed a place, while Stockport and Rochdale still clutch an outside chance of creeping into third.
So, it leaves our very own Magpies in the thickest League Two action in the campaign climax.
It is not a pressure that will be welcomed but a fight they will be determined to come out the other end of.
