Thordarson has been chasing the 6''4 midfield-man for sometime and has now been able to finalise the deal on the final day before the transfer window slams shut.

Thor: Got his man
Sissoko had failed to show for his trial at Meadow Lane earlier in the month due to personal problems, but Thordarson has now finally been able to land his man.

Sissoko, 22, has been keen to move to England since being released from French Second Division outfit Creteil.

After impressing on trial with Swansea City earlier in the campaign, the left-sided player was offered a three-month contract with the Welsh outfit. He becomes Thordarson's third signing of the transfer window, after Lee Crooks and Eugene Dadi.

The Icelander is still hopeful of adding Swansea striker Marc Goodfellow before the 12pm deadline, but faces strong competition from a number of other League Two clubs.
