Hamstring: Strachan has suffered several injuries since joining a year ago.
John Thompson is expected to fill the void left by Gavin Strachan in tomorrow's clash.

The defensive midfielder suffered a reoccurrence of a troublesome hamstring injury that has plagued his Notts County career.

Thompson was suspended for the 2-1 win over Exeter City but his tremendous displays since joining the club should see him reclaim the spot.

He does face stiff competition from Nathaniel Wedderburn, who impressed greatly when coming off the bench on Saturday.

Out of favour midfielders, Jay Smith and Neil Mackenzie are likely to miss out altogether, alongside top-scorer, Richard Butcher, who remains sidelined with a long-term foot problem.

Also unavailable are Russell Hoult (shoulder) and Adam Tann, who is still stepping up his return to full fitness.

Sean Canham (ankle) is a slight doubt, but Ian McParland is not expected to string any major changes.

The home side are likely to welcome back striker, Nathan Elder and defender, Alan Bennett from suspension.

Marvin Williams (hamstring), Ross Montague (back) and Gary Smith (hernia) are all missing with their respective ailments.
