Thommo: 'It would have been a travesty if we'd lost'

Notts cheif Thompson was delighted with his teams efforts on Saturday, grabbing a late equaliser to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

He said his sides 'never die' attitude earned them the result. "I always instil in my players that they are never beaten".

Meanwhile, Herefird boss Graham Turner was not so pleased with his sides 1-1 draw with Rochdale.

He said: "We created several good chances, but didn't take them", aggrieved at his side dropping two points at Edgar Street.

On the back of MK Dons picking up their first three points of the season, Assisstant Manager Ray Mathias couldn't hide his delight.
