Notts manager Steve Thompson was today given a two-match touchline ban and a £300 fine by the Football Association.

The punishment follows Thompson's actions during the controversial 3-2 defeat at the MK Dons.
After seeing his side being awarded a penalty, before it was then taken away from them, and then seeing Matt Somner dismissed, Thompson hit out at referee Danny McDermid.
McDermid, a first year referee, later dismissed Alan White also, and Thompson was furious with his display. At the time he said, “that's the first time I've ever given a referee 0/15”.
Thompson will be missing from the touchline for the home league game with Bristol Rovers, and the home ‘St Johnston's Paint Trophy' clash with Barnet.
