The Waiting Goes On For Magpies Fans
The bid believed to have the slight advantage at the moment is Albert Scardino's takeover bid backed by Quintain, as they compete against Frank Strang & Raj Bhatia and Vantis Sports Solutions to take over Notts County.

All three takeover bids were put to Finnity on Friday, who is no in the process of going through all the bids with a fine toothcomb before deciding which bidder will take over at Meadow Lane.

Magpies fans face an anxious wait to find out the decision, which at the moment could be any time this week with Finnity not putting an exact day on when he will have decided by.

"We are now in the process of going through three bids," Finnity told the Evening Post.

"It is a complex procedure and it is not something that we are going to manage overnight.

"I cannot say whether or not all three of them fulfil all the criteria required to complete a take-over, as we have not been through all the information yet.

"What I can say is that a decision is not likely to be announced until after this weekend.

"There is one party who seem to have a slight advantage, but that is all I am willing to say."
Finnity added.
