I predict a cracking season on the cards for Barnsley. They are certainly good enough to go straight back up with the players they have. And I would be very surprised if they finished outside the top six.

Well we all know the league is most definitely getting much tougher each year and Blackpool were very average last year. There are so many good teams. But Blackpool I don't think will go anywhere this season.

A play off final runners up hangover is on the cards for Brentford. And I can't seeing them avoiding the drop after there top players and there Manager has left them.

Prediction: 22nd

Well how many times will Bristol City mess it up, eh? I think they will just again make the play offs this season and possibly go up in the play offs even after they still have a very good manager at the helm in Danny Wilson.
Player to watch: Brian Tinnion and Lee Peacock

I don't like Cardiff, I don't like their Chairman, but most of all I don't like there Chairman. I would personally chuck them out of the Football League or deduct points because of their fans and their Chairman. Sadly I think they will have a great season. They have a good all round team and a good Manager in lennie Lawrence. I predict a year of glory on the offing for the Bluebirds, unfortunately.

Straight up and straight back down in my opinion. No real steal up the front. And they are predicted by me to hit rock bottom.
Player to watch: Mike Duff
Prediction: 24th. Hitting the bottom of the table.

You have to feel sorry for them. The Club is owned by the fans, which sounds good and the reserve team consists of a University team. Sadly, with no cash at all and a team that don't possess any real quality I can only see them slipping down to the basement.
Player to watch: Carl Muggleton
Prediction: 23rd. Relegated

Colchester are predicted for the drop every single year and they always survive under the excellent Steve Whitton. I don't think they'll go down but I do think they will be down there in a dog fight, just like Notts were on the last day maybe.

Crewe have a good little squad an an excellent long serving Manager in Dario Gradi. They should be getting a play off spot this season after dropping down to Division two last season.
Player to watch: David Brammer
Prediction: 4th

Missed out on the play off final last season. And I can't seeing them doing any better this season in new Manager Mick Wadsworth. I don't think they will make the play offs.
Player to watch: Nathan Clarke
Prediction: 9th

After a very good season last year and with Joe Kinnear at the helm, most Luton fans think they will do a "Brighton". I think they will do well and will finish just below Notts in 11th place.

The team that I most want to beat this season has to be Mansfield Town as I live in Sutton In Ashfield which is right next to Mansfield. I have to say Mansfield look too good to go down as I saw them on Monday versus Alves. Mansfield have a good midfield but they will struggle for goals this season especially if they keep that elephant upfront in Andy White.

Last season Northampton narrowly avoided relegation along with Notts. I think this season they should be fine. Especially, with a good Manager holding the reigns in Kevan Broadhurst. The Cobblers will be fine this season.

Oldham have a load of cash to spend in the bank and that will help there course for Promotion. They have a new manager in ex Southampton player Iain Dowie. And finally they have got a striker, a long awaited striker that they have needed, in a young overseas talent. I forget his name!

We always seem to have some interesting clashes with the Borough but I am afraid to think that they will be in the relegation scrap come the end of the season. And lots of fans want to see Barry fry out but apparently the Chairman loves him and wont sack him.

This lot are a massive club and I think they can do well this season. They have a really good manager so I am told and after the Pilgrims stromed to take the Division three title last season, i think they woll be pushing for a play off spot come the end of the season.

Another mid table team I think. Vale ran Notts ragged at the lane last season but I think this season will be similar for them in terms of league position.
Player to watch: Mark Goodlad

Narrowly missing out on a Play off spot last season I think rangers will narrowly miss out again this season although Notts fans voted them the best opposition team they had season last year.

After an absoloutly dismal season last year. Stockport fans will be hoping to bounce straight back up to Division one. Frankly I can't see it happening. Another Mid Table team for me this season.
Player to watch: Carlton Palmer (Player Manager)
Prediction: 14th

An unispiring team and a club that are sadly in the finanicial minefield. I can only see them being relegated. They have a good player in Danny Invincible, if only Swindon could say they were Invincible to avoid the drop.
Player to watch: Danny Invincible

In my opinion they will have a similar sort of season to the last. They have had a poor pre season in terms of results, but we all know that means nothing. Even if you are beaten 7-1 by Manchester City.
Player to watch: Simon Haworth
Prediction: 12th

They always have a damn good team on paper but never seem to make what they have got. I think this year they will and also i believe they will be up there challenging for Championship. They just have so much quality and Paul Jewell has to use that quality, if only to save his job.
Player to watch: Nathan Ellington
Prediction: Runners up, 2nd

Well Notts play Wycombe tommorow as most of us know. Although Notts always seem to get beaten by Wycombe tommorow will and should be different I am sure. But overally, Wycombe don't really possess enough quality to be challenging for any play off place really.
