Signing a three-year deal with the club, Thordarson, 49, was revealed as the club’s manager, as yet another chapter in the club’s illustrious history was crafted.
In front of a strong turnout of local press, Thordarson appeared on his first day in office as he was introduced to the local media at Meadow Lane this morning.
The former Iceland, Barnsley and Stoke City boss will remain with the club until the end of the 2007/08 season.
