For the penultimate encounter of the 2005/06 campaign, the Magpies go into the clash with no fewer than seven first teamers absent through injury and international duties.

Zadkovich: Guess who's back?
With nineteen senior players (and some youngsters to boot) fit to play, the depleted Magpies squad must aim to halt the Shakers’ run of just one defeat in nine games prior to their visit to the ‘Lane.

With Shane McFaul away with the Republic of Ireland under-19 side, Notts will be without the usual list of Mike Whitlow (knee), Mike Edwards (knee), Gavin Gordon (broken jaw), Rob Ullathorne (groin) and manager Richardson (knee).

Added to that, Notts have been hit with another blow with the foot injury sustained by Paul Bolland, which will rule him out for the second game in just a week.

On a positive note, the Magpies have been boosted by the return of Ruben Zadkovich, who flew home to Nottingham in favour of seeing out under-20 commitments with his native Australia.

Despite all injuries, Zadkovich will feature tomorrow at Meadow Lane. A sole positive amidst typically end of season scene at the ‘Lane.
