Team news: Hamshaw set for comeback

Missing: Hamshaw has been out since mid-November.
With the disappointing news that on-loan striker-come-winger, Jonathan Forte is heading back to his parent club, Scunthorpe United, is the announcement that County's top-assister is back in action.

Sidelined since mid-November with a hamstring injury sustained in training, Matthew Hamshaw is in line to return first team affairs against Kettering Town tomorrow night.

With a shortage of right-sided players in the squad, the former Mansfield Town winger may be thrown in at the deep end.

Changes are also expected at right-back with Derby County defender, Mitchell Hanson cup tied. This could open the door for Michael Johnson or Stephen Hunt to return to the starting-11, with John Thompson shifting to the right side of the rearguard.

Nathaniel Wedderburn is doubtful because of a knock to the head in the home win against Morecambe on Saturday, but apart from that, the Magpies are set to remain unchanged.

Adam Tann (knee) and Richard Butcher (foot) will definitely miss out.
