50/50: Simeon Jackson could be out...
Gillingham may be without their top goal-scorer, Simeon Jackson, for tonight's game because of an ankle injury sustained in their 2-2 draw with Bradford City on Saturday.

Another key member of his squad, Mark Bentley also looks set to miss out after being shown a red card in the same match.

The Gills have appealed for this to be rescinded, and the outcome will be revealed later today.

Should the request fail, either Stuart Lewis or Adam Miller are expected to play alongside Curtis Weston in the centre of midfield.

Captain, Barry Fuller picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at the weekend, but his ban does not begin until after tonight's game.

Notts County face a defensive crisis with Adam Tann (knee) added to the

casualty list having been on the receiving end of a reckless lunge on Saturday.

He joins Michael Johnson (toes), Stephen Hunt (groin) and Jason Beardsley (thigh), meaning that Notts only have four defenders to choose from.

Paul Mayo is expected to make his first start since the Accrington Stanley clash, with Jamie Clapham switching to right-back.

Besides this there are no other injury problems and with Tann excepted, County are expected to field the same team that started against Macclesfield Town.

Ian McParland has now served the entirety of his two-match ban and will make a welcome return to the dugout.
