Takeover expected to be formally completed today

NCM understands that the takeover of Notts County by Munto Finance Ltd. is set to be formally completed today after the final checks were carried out over the weekend and Football League approval has been sought. It is now over a month since the consortium's proposed takeover was first announced, and it seems that all loose ends with regards to the deal have now been tied up and it can be officially confirmed.

BBC Radio Nottingham have reported that they expected some form of an announcement or statement today involving the takeover, and NCM will have details of this as soon as they reach us. Meanwhile, vice chairman John Mounteney has categorically backed the bid once again, after the lifetime Notts fans gifted his shares to the consortium.
